Preserving the Foundation Spanish Mustang

Cactus Rose is a a full sister to the younger Ramblin Rose. Won't you sponsor this wild spanish rose today?
He goes by Buddy until his name is chosen by the winner. This little pot of gold was a late June foal for Windcross's herds. He's a keeper!
Won't you vote on his name today?
Raffaella came to us summer of 2010 with filly at side. She is an elegant mare that is always watching you and what you do. She was generously donated to the program from Starflower Ranch, Neil and Kitty UiBreaslain.
Lorelei Lee; The surprise foal of Reno and Mexi Jo Lorelei could not be more welcome and more fun. She is in need of her sponsor.
Carmen, our spanish lady is elegant, reserved and makes you work for her regard. I expect that she will start as she means to go on. Carmen is taking appointments for her partner sponsor. Won't you apply today?
Morganna le Fey as smokey buckskin filly is a stunning mover and has brains to boot. She decided late last summer that she does people and there was no going back after that. "Toodles" as we call her loves people, scratches and cookies. She let's you know that she has rights and is willing to assert herself to prove it. Amongst the easiest to halter of all the babies, she is my love of 2010.
She was generously donated to the program from Starflower Ranch, Neil and Kitty UiBreaslain.
Tickt'wa came to us summer of 2010 with her colt Gale Force at her side. Not one to push herself forward "Tikka" as she is called is a sweetie who as time goes on has become for assertive. She was generously donated to the program from Starflower Ranch, Neil and Kitty UiBreaslain. ( Tikka lost her 2011 stud colt to predators. We a greatly saddened by her loss.)
Lola Montez: was born believing that the world should be at her feet. That hasn't changed. My personal darling, Lola has recently been sponsored for life. She will remain an ambassador for the Spanish Mustang her at the ranch.
Out of Picabo this colt is Hide and Seek and that is what he does't when he isn't zooming from one side of the prairie to the next. This boy is on the move and needs a sponsor. Please.
Ramblin Rose a stunning little filly that is shy but sensible. She is a thinker and will be a future broodmare for the ranch if she matures as well as hoped. Sponsor her today!
Kat-Man-Du is a pistol. He can do and will do. A leggy colt that has even begun to grow into himself. He has stayed a stallion because I have a hunch about him. I can' wait to see how he matures for the herd projects.
Sassafras was born in 2009 and will be two years old this year. She was the victim of lack of human commitment. Our blessing as even though she is "just" a little bay appy spotted filly, this little plain Jane is loving and clever. Sassy as we call her is more trouble than a barrel of monkeys when she's on a mission.
Able to leap tall fences with a single bound. Sassafras is looking for a sponsor won't you be hers today?
(More photos of Sassy)
Gale Force or "Jedi" is a lovely stallion prospect that we are waiting to see if he is as stunning as his brother.
He was generously donated to the program from Starflower Ranch, Neil and Kitty UiBreaslain.
Pecabo was a summer 2010 acquisition to the preservation herd. She is in foal and will deliver spring of 2011. She is a shy and aloof mare that is still working out her new world and the number of people that are new to her world each day. A high percentage Choctaw bred horse. She was generously donated to the program from Starflower Ranch, Neil and Kitty UiBreaslain.
Dreamweaver carries the sorraia horse mtdna. She is often overlooked for the flashier colts but she is a stunning mover and very correct. She is what so often is not achieved. Dream a little dream for her and sponsor her today.
Go Kat Go waited to be born so we could watch on a sunny May day. He is a big colt that moves like the cat he was named for. He is looking for a sponsor that appreciates el gato~
Casanova who was jokingly named that because we thought he was more lover than fighter. We were SO wrong. During the flooding of Memorial Day he was saved by his dam and kept on a tiny piece of high ground. He had pneumonia and other problems too after his unscheduled swim. He has recovered but will still be gelded as we don't know if he will ever gain every thing he lost.
Double Tough has been winning fans since he was just days old. We named him Double Tough because as both dun and appy he was going to be double tough to deal with. He is smart, tough and certainly proved that the he is a pair to draw too. A permanent resident he is looking for a sponsor that is just as tough.
Chato's Apache is a quiet and thoughtful colt that observes and then reacts. He likes people and is always interested in being part of whatever is going on. He is on the short list as a stallion prospect. Apache has recently been sponsored for life and will remain here as an ambassador for the Spanish Mustang breed and Windcross.
