Here's just a small sampling of the herd project and what we've helped developed at the preserve over the years.
Gypsy Rose Lee
The second of only two daughters of The Little Star, Gypsy is unique in the fact the genetically she is rare. She is both a buckskin and a dun. She also cannot be made again. Although a diva herself her first foal Mambo #5 is a fabulously correct, bold and intelligent colt who will be a wonderfully riding horse in the future. We look forward to the possibility of a filly with Gypsy and her next breeding. Gypsy is available to sponsor.
We have volunteers from around the country and around the world. The level of horsemanship is not a requirement. Everyone has a skill to give and we are always grateful for the time given and the effort expended on behalf of the project. Contact us to see if there is space available on the calendar.
From 5 acres to 50+
We have come a long way in 10+ years. We are conservative. We breed to the extent that we can support and that has not helped in many ways forged the way to preserve the breed from extinction. Every year another breeder is lost to attrition and the list goes on. You can help us stay strong and be there next year and the year after.
